I realize that this post is not on the SSNL topic, but I think
you'll understand why in a moment. Here is my question:

Has anyone lost their account for posting a less-than-positive
post about the "Powers that be" for 2+2? For example, if I
were to slam one of them for shamlessly plugging a book
instead of just answering someones question, would I lose
my account?

I ask here because it is less likely to get their attention
than on a general board or higher stakes board.

Thank you!

Mike,

You can pretty much say what you want here, just don't swear and don't make it super-personal.

Note that if it includes gay bashing / racism or whatnot, that it will be deleted by the forum moderator.

That being said, you should re-think this... it doesn't make a whole lot of sense for the guys to retype their entire book into the forum, does it?

In a typical situation, I'd agree. But one of them answers
questions sort of like "That's covered in my book XYZ. But,
of course, I'm not going to post that here." Well, fine,
don't post. But if you have nothing more to say about it,
don't just plug your book.

Understand?

Last time I checked, we all use this forum for free. It's an invaluable resource and is incredibly well run and moderated. Because of that, it seems that most people are here for the legitimate purpose of improving their game (other than in OOT, which is a different story altogether).

So, as far as I'm concerned he/they can plug whatever they want to plug. Frankly, I think we owe them at least some measure of gratitude.
