Yes preflop is meh, but IIRC, MP3 is being donkish with his raising. It's still loose I admit, but I love these hands at this table. Both villains are 2+2ers here.

edit: one bit of info I forgot... I have been check raising a lot of flops here, so this check raise, to the observant players, could be anything from a set to a pocket pair above 4, or even a 4.

Turn: (6.50 BB) 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls, MP3 calls.

River: (9.50 BB) A/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets, MP3 calls, Hero raises, MP1 calls, MP3 calls.

Final Pot: 15.50 BB

Results:
Hero has 6s 5s (flush, queen high).
MP1 has Jh As (two pair, aces and twos).
MP3 has 8d Qd (two pair, queens and twos).
Outcome: Hero wins 15.50 BB.

That was my favorite too. I was almost 100% positive you were going for a river cr, so I don't know why I bet.

I realise this a 2p2 table and people are playing like donks, but does anyone else not like MP3's overcall on the end? Is there any way he is good there 1/15?

I think you pretty much have to bet, but calling the raise is usually wrong because you know I know you have the A/images/graemlins/spade.gif. I don't really fault you for calling, though. One bet in large pot, yadda yadda.

His overcall was terrible, but to his credit, I don't think he was trying to play his best game.

Oh, I wasn't trying to disparage anyone, just I am trying to get back into limit and therefore am trying to ask questions where things don't make sense to me on here. I truly understand how these games go having participated in plenty of NL 2p2 affairs. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

2+2 tables are teaching me how much more I have to learn about poker. They are by far the toughest tables I play at. If it was any higher the .5/1 I probably couldn't afford it at this point.

I think he should have check folded the river since I called the turn on a rainbow board, although the rest of the hand is perfectly fine because he could totally expect me to fold a better hand on the flop or turn - calling down was tough enough.
