pf: you have a drawing hand just limp

You are lucky he folded the river. You would think he either called your turn raise with two /images/graemlins/heart.gifs or a hand he was willing to showdown - both of which you lose to on the river. If I was going to put raises in anywhere in this hand it would be on the flop.

obviously its very read dependant.

I would have prob raised or folded the flop. If i raised and was 3 bet id dump it.

If he calls i bet the turn, if he calls that i would prob just cut my losses and check behind on the river.

no way miles. dr lklopek bet and raised with the best hand and put a great move on this villain making him fold his worse hand. it was an expert play.

I've tried pulling this crap before and run into trouble more often than not.

if he's got a pocket pair he's going to call you down to the river most likely. the types of guys that are willing to try to bluff the pre-flop raiser are often willing to bluff-3-bet as well (which I assume you'd fold to).

my line would be, raise the flop, take a stab at the turn and check the river through.

edit: of course I probably try to pull it on the wrong people.

why raise when we dont even have a pair? we should wait until we hit an ace or a ten.

why is the raise on the turn better than on the flop? He doesnt have a pair on the turn either.

More fold equity, I think.

this is terrible advice. PF raise is fine.

river bet is awful. you have A-high. he's not folding a better hand.

do you think he'll call on the river with a worse hand 55% of the time? i dont. easy check through on the river.

turn: i'd only raise if i thought villian was capable of releasing a 3 or a PP to my raise. they never do. I think calling all the way down is the best line if you cant trust this guy.

Blech. Okay.

I like the raise preflop. You're 7-handed... ATo is a great hand to raise first in there.

You could consider folding the flop. Unless SB is very aggressive.

You caught him on a bluff here, but I don't like this line against your typical, passive donk.

Are you trying to make him fold a hand better than AT or do you think he's trying to bluff his way through this pot? If it's the latter, you played it horribly.
