I've played with this guy 7 times.
He is 90/38/2.02 (can you imagine?) in 174 hands.
I have position on him.
He'll bet and raise anything.
In the situation, instead of playing tight and waiting, I gamble with him, with the goal of getting paid off even more when I really hit my hand. Not that I picked up a big hand to get paid off on...
Oh, and of course, defending him against the inevitable "you are an idiot" chat.
