ok, scenario.

Stars, double shootout for the WSOP-ME.

First table. The table has been tighter than my wallet, so ive yet to see a showdown let alone get a read on a player.

im thinking i went wrong when i called his raise on the turn. however for 900-200, its not the worst call in the world when he could of been on the flush draw too, right?

on the river i took a long time, i went through my head everything he could of had, and i put him on JT. anyone think different?

anyone think i played it badly?

-----

less than 2 orbits later i find myself racing against the same guy, my AK v his JJ. he rivered of course. no harm, no foul; it happens. just wanted to give you the final results on my first attempt at a DS.

ehh..yes.( not sure about ur math) im no authority here but Im confident that pushing the turn is right.

typo, meant to be over 3*. but i still feel the push is wrong, the pot isnt that big imo to warrent it. but ive been out of the 2+2SnG loop for a while, so hyperaggression might be the in thing or something.

Why do you call on the turn but then fold on the river? The problem is you didn't seem to have a plan with this hand, make your read on turn and go with it. Personally I think you are ahead here too often on the turn and you should push it, but folding is ok too.

The river fold is really bad given the turn call.

Excatly what I was going to post as I was reading this.

What were you planning to do with this hand? What did you want to flop?
