Bring your dog to the game day?

Just turned ont he Mariners/White Sox game...people were allowed to bring their dog to the game today. Anybody that knows for sure, is this correct? WTF?

I saw that too. That is one thing that could get me to a White Sox-Mariners game. My dog would love that.
