Okay, so I raise preflop hoping to take the blinds. I get one caller. Hopefully he will miss the flop and I can take the pot then.

I get bottom pair on the flop. When he puts me all-in, I am about 99% sure that he is either bluffing completely or has a hand like 55 and is scared of the kings. I figure my pair of sevens will be good about 80% of the time(maybe 5% of the time he has a king and is playing it wierd, but the most likely hand that beats me is something like 88 or 99. I'm getting about 2:1 here, so I think a call is the right play.

Is my call okay? Was my thought process reasonable?

Depending on the player, the call on the flop could have been fine.

I dont understand why you bet 33+% of your stack preflop. You have 11xBB which is a pretty awkard stack size. Pushing seems excessive, but raising then folding is pretty expensive.

If you are going to raise, raise from 400-600. 775 is too much and unnecessary. I'd probably raise to 500.

Against some aggressive opponents, folding or pushing would be required, even at 11xBB.
