Yeah, I found the formula. Seems you only get credit for 1st and 2nd place. At least on Party that's how they do it. Apparently my rank is 1000 or so. Holla.

no. the formula is:
Formula = SQRT {B}*(TN)/R

SQRT= Square root
B= Buy-In of a tournament
TN=Total Number Of players in a tournament
R=player's Rank in a Tournament.

So its heavily weighted towards the top, but even the 10th place guy gets something.

I'm currently 71st, and hoping to make a run at top 50 this month. I currently have about 82% of the 50th guy, so I don't know if i can so it, but I slacked off a bit early in the month so hopefully I can do some catching up.

You have the correct formula, but unless they recently changed it only the top 20% get points. That goes for the multis as well.

All in all quantity and Buyin are the main factors(provided you at minimum a 30% ITM player) This leaderboard gives no real indication of who is better. It does however weigh towards those that are winning players, because people who play that much are normally the pros.(but not always).

I place about 35ish every month playing 500 of the 30s.
