2001fp price question

Hey guys I'm probably picking up my 2001 fp this month(finally). I'm probably going the EBay route and was curious how much you guys have paid for yours. Thanks for any info.

I got mine for like $527. When I was looking, ebay listings were actually more expensive than ordering direct from Dell. New, I wouldn't pay more than $520 shipped. Used, no more than $480 shipped.

Ahh yeah, I forgot about that. 2001FP's are horrendously expensive in Europe, so you can sell them for roughly ~£320 (~$608).

Dont buy them on ebay... most ebay sellers of dell products will refuse to transfer the warranty so as not to get blacklisted by dell

I just picked mine up from ebay for $500 shipped, comes with the 3-year warranty. Make sure you ask your seller a question about the warranty before you bid on it. If they say yes, then you're golden. If anyone is interested I can send you to the guy I bought mine from.

If you use all the coupons u can get it for a bit under 500 from dell, plus you dont have to worry about the warranty and seller, probably easier unless u can get a steal on ebay.

Why would you pay $500 on fleabay when you can get it cheaper directly with dell and not have to worry about warranty transfers, possible shady sellers and a longer wait for delivery...

Ordered 2 of them about a month ago for about $525 a piece direct from Dell. If a good offer comes up grab it, and you can also get an expired offer some of the time. Just call up Dell and tell them you were going to order during the offer but you had to wait for money to hit your account. Dell is usually pretty good about giving you a decent deal.
