On the turn, with 5 opponents, even if only your non-pairing spades (8 of them) are good, you are basically EV neutral raising...your equity is about equal to your fair share. Then throw in those times that drawing to two pair with an 8, or trip aces is good (although I don't think that's often), and we have an edge. The main problem I see is that all these donks keep calling. Granted, they could have bottom pair or a straight draw, but it might be that one (or more) are holding 2 of our precious spades. If that's the case, our implied odds go up a bit, since we can count on one other person to give us action when we hit on the river, but we don't have an equity edge on the turn. Bottom line: it's close, you can probably do either.

River should be a somewhat easy (albeit painful) fold without a read that the bettor or raiser is a maniac; I think your A is good about never here, massive pot or no.

I like it. That fold on the end is painful, but a must. I like the CR on the turn as the BB could've had KK, but the way it played out it was evident that he didn't. I think he had JJ and utg+2 very well could've has AA that he played cute

I think you missed out on some equity preflop. I think A8s wins a lot more than 1 in 9 against some, well, near-random hands.
