Opponent was silly, but not too silly - I think you know what I mean.

My question is directed at what do you make of the preflop 3bet/flop check? Usually it is a set or a complete whiff, but there is one combination of TT and 55/22 seem pretty unlikely. I think a big overpair is really likely here even giving that much turn action.

Thoughts?

If you think an overpair non-donk is going to give that much action to the top card pairing on the turn, you've got another think coming. This is possibly the only even remotely interesting thread you've posted, congratulations.

I wouldn't cap the turn.
