Yeah, but it was a decent premise.

I just wish he had injected more humor in the middle, but I'm not sure how one would do that.

Basically, the only reason I posted this was to see if there were any bright ideas on what should have gone in the middle.

odd, I didn't like the beginning, but I like the "way downhill " part. Well, the ten seconds of it that I did watch anyway. It made me proud to be an american for some reason.

Not really, the random pics of american soldiers kicking ass made me feel proud to be an american. The AYBABTU stuff made me yawn.

The context: It's a take-off of the huge internet sensation from about 4 years ago, "All Your Base Are Belong To Us."

About the original: The "first part" is from the Sega Geneis game ZeroWing, the second part is a collection of related images people created, set to music.

I am proud to admit that when I was in the thick of the craze, I even purchased an "AYB" t-shirt, and wore it in semi-public more than zero times.

Ah, but the original being funny does not give this parody a free pass.

I have decided to give this parody an "unfunnyŽ" rating.
It has a decent premise, but lacks imagination.

I thought it was too obvious that "I do not believe that ALL take-offs are funny just by virtue of them being take-offs" to actually state so.
