Table was very tight for a PP .5/1 (VPIP 21%). Villain in this hand was sL-AP.

Well I have my straight now, but another raise from Villain has me worried about the possiblity that she suckered me in for another bet with a flush... Would you reraise?

Final Pot: 14 BB

Calldown from his turn raise.

Check-call river.

I don't think you're strong here.

based on your read on the villain as being passive postflop, I call down when the 3rd club hits. In reality, I'd be trying to convince myself not to lead the river, but I agree with Arturius that check/calling is the better line here.

You will probably split or win less often than you lose, so minimze you losses while still going to SD with a decent hand.

Leading is interesting, I think I'd split the pot to often here to lead out and pay more rake.

3-betting the TURN is spewage. Call the turn raise and check-call the river.

I think you lost to a flush.

Villain shows As Tc for two pair. MHIG.

i would just call at this point a) he has raised you twice now in the late rounds; b) paradise is normally not known for lots of bluffing; c) .5/1 is very tight on paradise in my opinion and you have to believe they have it. The last 2 are subjective but i have 12-13k hands on paradise.

Correct you are. I misread my As as his (I'm not quite sober at the moment). He had the Ah.

I dont like the turn raise. Out of position, you won't buy a showdown, and if you think he wants to make it look like he has the flush, let him go ahead and bluff his weaker hand, but don;t let him fold it. I check call the river, with or without the straight unless another spade comes.
