I finished another block of 100 tournies today for a total of 500. Here are my results. These results are 2 tabling.

ROI - 100 blocks:
1st: 42%
2nd: 55%
3rd: -7%
4th: 15%
5th: 21%
Avg Total: 25%

Finish breakdown:
1st: 74/500 = 15%
2nd: 57/500 = 11%
3rd: 74/500 = 15%
4th: 56/500 = 11%
ITM: 41%

I've been overagressive for the last 30 games or so and am getting slammed by the deck. I think I have just about nailed down what I have been doing wrong.

results look good. there's no need to update us every 100 tournaments though.

There are all kinds of benefits of me updating every 100.

1. People can see the swings of actual results
2. People will be more likely to actually find some 50 results
3. If people recognise me, maybe I'll get some comments on my hand questions.
4. It makes me feel good to post my stats
5. So few significant actual stats are found on the 50's

none of these statements make sense.

1) people can see the swings of actual results by looking at their own, or there are plenty of posts that talk about this stuff already

2) i'm assuming that you are talking about results from the $55s? those are all over the place too

3) people are much more likely to come to comment on your hands if you just a) post interesting hands every once in a while or b) comment on other people's hands instead of c) posting statistics that it's unlikely anyone cares about every hundred games

4) no one cares that it makes you feel good, post them on some forum where people aren't sick of people posting their stats. perhaps quarterlifecrisis or something

5) your statistics are not significant in any way, so i'm hoping that that isn't what you're implying. i'm also wondering how #5 is different from #2.

Lots of posts, few with actual stats. Personally actual results help me understand things more fully that a general statement.

If nobody cared about stats, I would be reading about newbie stats all the time. Not everyone is a seasoned 2+2'er like you are.

500 sngs is a lot more significant than 50-100. That makes them somewhat significant based on the most common results posted here. I have asked for relevant stats, they are never posted. Where are your posted results from thousands of tournies?

I would just like to say that I don't mind you posting your results. In fact I like it because it helps me get a better idea of what may be possible at that level.

Also, congratulations on the resultness of your results.

Your results look somewhat similar to mine, (though my ROI is 1.5% higher- damn right!) and I think it is good for people to see that someone with a 25% ROI at the 50s can have a -7% string of 100.

Thanks for the replies guys. I think citinul is tired of seeing the same posts over and over again and he threw my post into that group.

Personally I know I am tired of newbie posts, and I ingore most of them. I don't think my update posts on 400+ tournies is irrevant. And I will continue to post them. Ideally, I would love to see posts from others who have 500+ tournies so I can compare. Both for an idea how I am playing vs my peers and for fun.
