I hear people talking about 12+ PFR is common on higher small stakes tables. I'm already bit uncomfortable raising AJ out of early position, seems like at 12% you'd be raising even ATo or raising nearly every playable hand from late position.

I hover around 8.5% PFR which I felt pretty good about until now /images/graemlins/smile.gif. What do the high PFR folks loosen up with preflop to crank their PFR?

Alot of the increase comes from more frequent blind steal oppurtunites. Also from more open raising oppurtunites from middle position.

Also you have more oppurtunites to isolate a single limper.

It adds up.

ya, it's not necessarily "what" you're raising....it's also "when" you raise preflop.

That said, I haven't checked my stats in a long time, but I don't think I'm over 10% PFR.

I'm about a point less PFR at 5/10 than 3/6. I attribute this to it being raised to me more often.
