These situations really bother me. I know that a read helps a lot here, but I just joined the table and didn't have one on my opponent.

This is fine. I also checkraise this flop sometimes, but there's nothing wrong with this line.

Tiny pot, mediocre hand, good fold. I may even check/fold this one.
