Yes. It's mostly for sites you have to just register for, not pay to subscribe to, but i have found it works with some subscription sites as well.

As a side tip: you should be using Firefox w/ the BugMeNot extension. From there, you just right click and select "bugmenot" and it'll fill in the form for you on-site.

That takes all the fun out of it. I usually use something like ptmarlin@blowyourself.com for an email, and try to get creative with the other stuff, none of it being correct, of course. If they ask for a year of birth (I don't know why, but most sites requiring registration do), I will put something like 1635. Many sites will not accept birth dates that far back, so if it rejects it, I will put in the earliest date I can get to work. Usually they have a male/female radiobutton for gender, but if not, I would put something like hermaphrodite, or other.
