I just rolled over hand number 5,000 at .50/1. My win rate is 0.20BB/100. In looking at my stats I notice a few nice and a few scary numbers.

WTSD: 40.06 % Seems high
W$SD: 51.31% Seems a tad low
W$WSF: 34.99% Seems high (but I'll take it /images/graemlins/smile.gif)

Aggresstion:

PF: 0.74
Flop: 2.98
Turn: 2.25
River: 1.96
Total (no PF): 1.61

Here are the stats I need to improve:

VP$IP: 13.83%
PF Raise: 6.48%

How do I get these numbers up????

I know I have to work on my pre-flop stratedgy. It looks like I am playing a 5/10 game in the .5/1 world.

I also know 5,000 hands is a vary small sample size, but the VP$IP and PF raise numbers should be pretty firm by now.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah I know that! Maybe I should be a little more specific. I prettymuch play the hands outlined in SSH and printed by Ohgeetee (from FAQ section). I do deviate a little when I feel it is called for.

Read all my marginal hands posts. You'll be warped for life.

I don't think you can follow the loose table guidelines and only play 13% of the hands. That should put you closer to 20%.

One advantage to playing more marginal hands is you learn how to play them post flop better so you don't lose near as much money in the blinds when you have to play even worse hands.

Do you:

Limp 22 UTG?
Limp A2s UTG?
PFR KTo on the hijack?

Play the loose recommendations until you are proved that the table is too tight or too tough for them. If it is, you should play another table anyway.

Hey Grunch, just curious but do you show a profit with 22 and A2s UTG? They're some pretty bad hands for me.

Yes, but you have to be at the right table.
