No specific read on BB.
Is raising the river and calling a 3-bet standard here?
My thinking: he knows I'll value bet my aces on the river so he might go for the C/R with 'turn 2 pairs' (78, A8, A7, A2 - they're all possible). But river could be a scare card for me (even if we assume I might also have a pocket pair 88-KK and check behind) so he bets out.
Although backdoor flushes are rare, I hate to call his 3-bet.
So is a raise here correct? If we assume, he won't call it if it was a gaybet, will call it with an ace pair/any two pairs (I beat them), won't 3-bet wit a set and will 3-bet with a flush and I call down if 3-bet.

Definitely raise this river.

What are you afraid of, a backdoor flush?

Against a lot of players I would cap.
