After seeing some of the views of a few posters (albeit a minority of them) in this thread (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=2128514&page=0&view=c ollapsed&sb=5&o=7&fpart=1), I suspect they have an increased chance of dying from colon or prostate cancer.
(i.e. a digital rectal exam is an essential component of any complete physical examination of older men).
