Is this a routine fold? Should I have reraised preflop?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A/images/graemlins/club.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.

Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 bets</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, Hero folds

generally speaking... unless you have a specific reason not to, then it's pretty much standard.

especially at the party 2/4 tables.

As for the flop play - you're getting about 6-1 back to you, but you would be sick to get 3 bet or capped, and you don't even know if your aces or kings are solid outs here, so yes, you fold.

This is the problem with not 3-betting preflop. Being the pfr, you know he's probably going to come out betting, and there's no reason to assume you're behind. If you 3-bet preflop and bet out on the flop he might fold or he might raise. Either way, you'll know where you're at after the flop.

3 bet preflop and bet out the flop call a raise and check/fold the turn is my line here?
