CO checks, Hero checks.

Is this correct? Considering his tightness, his PF raise AND his call of my reraise... I put him on Aces (thought he probably would have 3 bet) Kings (unlikely), Jacks, Queens, AK or AQ. My immediate thought when he checked to me was there's no way he's not slowplaying something.

Turn: ($7.10) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)

Please advise from this point on. I'll tell you right now I completely butchered this hand. I'm just curious if anyone continues from this point on and how they do it.

If he is slowplaying something, the flop is when to find out, IMO. Bet out like $5 and then I'm done with the hand.

Bet the flop. If he's a tight player than a flop bet will defenitely let you know where you stand.

I agree that I should have bet. I called. A 9 came on the turn. He bet $4 or so. I called (for no good reason). A blank fell on the turn. He bet $6. I called for the stupid reason of wanting to see if my read was right.

He won with a set of queens.

It was one of those hands where I was excited to have my read confirmed almost exactly (I was leaning towards queens) and but felt like a moron for paying him off for having what I thought he did.

Nothing worse then knowing your wrong and paying them anyways.
