This is just something I've noticed lately. You have an aggressive, but not suicidal player at the table (there's usually at least one) who gets a really poor bluff attempt like reraising a pair of 2s against an obvious flush on the board. Like clockwork they go on tilt and go insane, raising and reraising EVERYTHING until they win one. if they go broke, they put more money in and continue the rampage. I've seen this happen on four seperate occasions with four different players. Anyone got an explaination?

I think of it as just a little acknowledgement and reward from the poker-gods for all the hard-work and discipline the rest of us put into the game... /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

They're trying to justify their poor play on the losing hand. Eventually they'll win a big pot and mentally say to everyone at the table "See - that proves I was right to be so aggressive"

The guys probably want to feel strong raising. Self fullfillment being a bully? Just like in real life.
