Villian here is unknown.
I have no idea what to make of this, especially when he checks the river.

You might have a value bet on the river. AK/AQ might think about calling as you could easily have been on a draw.

I think postflop is fine. he prolly isn't calling with AcKc on the river. were you calling the river?

I think you want one MORE free card.

So, what river card doesn't scare you?

Your third 9 puts a four-straight on the board.
Any queen gives AK a better straight.
7 /images/graemlins/club.gif puts a flush on the board.
A or K and you're dead.
Lower than 7 and you've got third pair, with two honors overcards on the board.
The other Js, Ts, and 8s don't help your position at all.

I'm seeing three river cards that you can bet comfortably, and many that make you swear and fold when UTG comes back to life.

This is not to say I think you should bet anything, because I'm really not convinced you should bet anywhere. I just think that your pot odds are lower than 50% everywhere after the flop.

Heck, maybe I'm wrong and the river bet is +EV, but at this river what hand calls you that doesn't beat you, and what hand folds that you beat?

No. At least I don't think so. When he capped pf, I gave him AA-QQ. I think he may have feared JJ, and thus slowed down on the flop.

I can't either. I wanted this joker HU, so I 3-bet. The fact that there was a poster in the hand made me think he MAY be getting cute, but I had no read.
