Got the idea from reading through past threads,

Who do you rate as best players on Party $5/$10 6 max, $10/$20

Players you would avoid at your tables and who you believe are long term winners, most likely 2+2ers

Also are there any other forums that offer good 6 max discussion?

I don't know anyone at 5/10 I want to avoid unless there are 4 or 5 of them at the same table.

I'm decent, but if you're trying to be successfull by avoiding tough players, then I want you at my table.

Woodfordman? I intentionally seek him out. I love when someone sucks out on him and he immediately types in "fu". This always makes my day.

I don't avoid anyone- and i don't practice table selection. At this level i think that it is important to be able to beat anyone who sits down- or at the very least be comfortable in making your reads and reacting right. If this means that for a hundred hands a week i am sitting at -EV or 0EV tables i don't really care, it is more than worth it.

Been awhile since I've played 5/10, but Woodfordman always struck me as good but very very direct, i.e., non-tricky. And tight enough that he wasn't in too many hands. If I had a choice I wouldn't sit down at a table with him, but in general I don't know that he's Mr. Pwn.

I think that's exactly right.

But Grisgra, if I remember rightly, you were desperate to find out what Woodfordman's 2+2 handle was... (if any). I can exclusively reveal that I don't know.

Guy.

Is that you Buster?

Anyways, he/you seem to laydown too easily to aggression, but I have a small sample size(approx. 150 hands).

I find its hard to discern who the top 10/20 players are, since they often make odd looking plays and are very overaggressive.

I dont like the idea posting good players here. If u cant spot them u should lose against them.

I think there is a difference between who you want to avoid and who is winning most. I really dont like tricky guys playing 40/20 but I dont think they are winning a lot.

I much prefer a 30/10 AF 1, instead of 45/25 AF2, even if both are long term losing -1BB/100.

Also, I dont mind a few players with 17/10 AF3, they arent in the way when I chase fish, even if I think this guys win long term.

i dont think so. he loves to call me down with A- K-high when i miss my draws and make seemingly good laydowns when i have something. sometimes i think he can see my cards. i guess thats how the good players are tho. he is also super aggressive whether or not he has a hand. i have a whole playbook on this guy in my head, but i still cant beat him.

i guess im the only one who has a problem with him /images/graemlins/mad.gif

I am not a fan of these threads either- but goddamn it feels good to have someone post you name. Of course now i have to get a new nick (something i was going to do anyway to pick up a few % points of rakeback). So thanks for the compliment Busterstacks, and i guess i had better pick a different book as well just to keep from being obvious.
