Low stacked from a suckout earlier, but ignoring that, how does one play this hand?

dump it on the flop. small pot, coordinated board and few redraws...IMHO /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Why'd you raise the turn?

The biggest crime is the fact that you didn't have enough money to complete the hand. ALWAYS have at least 12BB entering any hand.

i didn't have time to reload, but let's just presume i had. i understand to dump it on the flop, but that flop fails to hit its draws on the turn and river (which is true in this case) then do I have the best hand most of the time? and how would you play it?

Well, I don't really want to fold top pair here even though my kicker sucks. I think the flop check/call is fine. No reason to belive a straight is out just yet. Check/raising the turn accomplishes nothing but trapping the field for one more bet when we have a very fragile hand. I'd just call the turn, and lead the river when the third T falls. I wouldn't 3-bet though, since someone could be slowplaying a made straight.

yeah, i've read it, but to be frank, i've tried out other casinos and assorted stuff, but i don't want to put my cash into blackjack sites right now. also, i'm not interested in playing limits that i'm not into just to clear bonuses, so we'll let it go @ .25/.50 for a while

if you've got $200, take the GRANNY code to Paradise. i play .25/.5 there. it is good play and you get the max bonus of $100 as you play as a new account. it doesn't have a time limit, so you don't have to rush at a higher limit to clear it. just an idea /images/graemlins/laugh.gif good luck.

I lead the safe turn if you're going to carry on with the hand.
