SB is a 26/0/2.00

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with J/images/graemlins/heart.gif, J/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, SB calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (7 SB) 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 2/images/graemlins/club.gif, 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, UTG+1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, SB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (6.50 BB) 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, UTG+1 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises</font>, UTG+1 calls, Hero...

Please include reasoning.

You have to call, you probably have enough hidden outs if you are behind, as long as he doesn't have a straight or a set. He could be doing this with some draw trying to push you off as he's aggressive. Call the river if it's 1 to you.

(n00b warning)

I'd fold. I'd put SB on a 67s (not neccesary /images/graemlins/diamond.gif).

UTG+1 cold-calling a double raise after checking though?. He must be on both a straight and flush draw.

This might be a big leak in my game, but I usually call down in this kind of situation. I put SB on some garbage 2 pair. You have 8 outs against 2 pair so you have the odds to call this.

Hi Jeff,

SB is a 26/0/2.00 after how many hands? Given no strong read, call down, even though most of the time you're probably beaten. You know how weird these games are.

I would just call this down after the SB turn raise unless you have a read as him being mentally retarded.

It looks as if you are behind, call down and make a note of what he shows you.

This isn't a leak. I'm not sure what the combinations of him having a straight or set vs. 2 pair are as I'm too lazy to figure it out. Maybe I'll do it later.

For the sake of it say there's a 50% chance he has 2 pair, and a 50% chance you have 2 or 0 outs. If this was the case you'd have about 5 outs and would be getting the right price. I know it's not 5 outs so don't bash me. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

This doesn't include the times you're ahead, either.

i'm calling down and cursing his name forever for a)flopping the straight or b) getting his straight when the 8 hit or c)getting a crappy 2 pair out of this hideous board.

i have problems letting go of high PP, especially when people call from SB and bet like this, i want to know what they are playing with.

you have UTG cold calling= flush draw most likely.
