LCD monitors (and laptops) don't have the resolution required, unless things have changed in the past 6 months or so. You will have to overlap or get another monitor.

I have a dell inspiron 5150. The motherboard crapped out 20 after the warranty expired and the basdards at Dell won't cut me any slack. Anyways my 5150 has a UXGA screen which allows 1600x1200 resolution. Thats whats required to display 3 or 4 tables without any overlap.

You probably do not have a UXGA screen, but if you did you could change the resolution on it to 1600x1200 by following these steps.

1. Right click on a blank portion of your desktop
2. Select "properties"
3. Choose the "settings" tab
4. Move the screen resolution slider all the way to right.
5. Click apply
6. Click OK.
7. Send me 20 bucks via neteller(PM me and I will give you the details).

Hey man.
I have a similar laptop, a Dell Inspiron 1150.
Most if not all pokerklients are 800 X 600.
To run three or four tables without overlaping
will require a resolution of 1600 X 1200.
Your screen of Your laptop can not run this resolution.
Your graphiccard can probably do it however.
The solution here is to get a flatscreen(also found at Dell) and hook it up to Your laptop.
You won't get away with anything smaller than a 20".

judging by the other responses (i dont feel like doing the research and neither do you so blah), your only chance is a docking station along with a monitor that handles 1600x1200 or above. That kind of defeats the purpose of a laptop though.

If his graphics card supports 1600X800 res he can buy a UXGA screen off of Ebay. After you remove the keyboard(see owners manual, its a piece of cake) its only six screws and a ribbon cable to remove the screen. I don't see any UXGA screens for sale at the moment, but they come up frequently and usually go for $300 bucks or so. If he does that he can turn around and sell his old screen for a couple of hundred bucks. His net cost to upgrade $50-$150.

That sounds like a great idea. I had no idea that was possible. Seems like I have an XGA screen, but I'l be looking for a replacement for my own laptop now.
Thanks for the info.
