Biggest mistake. WAY to small of a raise. Up the bet here and you'll have a lot more info going into the turn.

why did you bet $2 into a $5 pot? you showed some weakness, so there is a small possibility that he is making a play on you. he might have put you on ak. if you aren't gonna fold to that turn checkraise, you should just push. make a real bet on the flop, and life will be a lot easier for you. i would probably raise a little more preflop too. i have found that somebody who raises at this level isn't gonna fold to a raise to $3.

preflop looks good, bet more on the flop. on the turn i call the minCR because: 1) its a small raise, 2) ur hand may be good, and 3) u have some outs if ur behind. call the river of course.

My thinking on the small bet on the flop was to keep him in the hand with second or top pair and then bet the pot on the turn to push him out of it. This back fired...I guess I tried to get too fancy and wanted to force him to make mistakes.

If he has a 9 or a J, he has two of them. Maaaaaaaybe AJ.

and then bet the pot on the turn to push him out of it.

Why would you want to push him out of anything on the turn that you wanted him to stay in with on the flop? That only makes sense if you are ahead on the flop but behind on the turn. Which only makes sense if the turn improved him. But any hand that improved with that queen is not folding.

on the turn i call the minCR

what is the point of just calling? hero has very little left after calling the raise. there is no way he is folding on the river after calling that turn raise. push or fold.

I'm pretty sure you sure either check this flop or bet $4-$5. Betting that flop so tiny and betting the turn so large really just plays into the hands of BB, who I'm pretty sure has you beat by the turn, although it seems more like a flopped set than KT.
