Nice doubleup, although I'm surprised you didn't push AQs in preflop.

wanted the short stack to push and then for me to come in as well, that was the hope on the AQs.

Argghh... he completes sb heads up, i raise pot with A3, he reraises pot, I had seen him do this MANY times, i reraise all in thinking I could very well be ahead, he shows AK. Overall not horribly impressed by either 'good' player. I will still take almost $1100 on a $30 investment any day though, 2 good finishes in as many week, not bad.

Nice one Justin. Do you remember what you had a few hands earlier, when the flop came all spades (you bet pot, he reraised pot)? I think this was a hand or 2 before you doubled through with aq.

Just a J2, no spades, thought I could steal, found out I couldn't.... right after I bet it I knew it was too strange an amount, and an overbet and knew he would reraise.
