BB is a maniac playing over 45% of hands and 20% preflop raises. I have seen him call all in with J 9 suited and raise all in with 2 3 off. I figured he had any pocket pair, any two totaling 20, any ace, any 2 suited, and any connectors up to 1 gap. Should I have just called rather than reraise all in? I figured I wanted FE so I would put him all in.

I like the idea of moving in preflop because of your positional disadvantage, and the ensuing fun you'd have if you miss the flop. If you think he's pushing you around, solve that position problem yourself...

IMO, of course.

I do not like the "call option". If you call, you are out of position and have to act first every time.

If you fold, you still have t795 in chips, the blinds are getting on up there. If you feel you are one of the better players in the game it might be an option to look for a better spot.

If you "push" you are getting more than 2 to 1 pot odds. If he has a pp, you are in a coin flip, If he has two over cards, you are a favorite. In both situations, you are getting good odds..

Once again, it would depend on whether I thought I was one of the better players at the table and could still make a good showing with t795.

Or, if your read is correct and there is a good chance that he does not have a pp, you could double up and be one of the chip leaders and a favorite to make the money. Hell, even if he has a pp, you still are in a coin flip situation.

I suppose you could go with a stop and go, but I think I would rather just push. It might have won this hand, but its going to cost you a bunch against worse Aces.

Folding is not an option.
