Whats the deal with started tourneys on Empire?

They have several guaranteed tourneys that have started with anywhere from 1 (yes 1 guy) to 53. The payouts are ridiculous compared to what they payed to get in. Are these people getting paid?

I haven't been able to register for any tournaments since last night /images/graemlins/confused.gif

I'm not sure what is going on, but I sure wish I could have registered (I tried) for that 10K guaranteed /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Dont worry, they shut it down. Those guys didnt get anything.

Nope. They run and they get paid. I just wish I could've gotten in *sigh*.

This happens on a semi-regular basis AFAIK.
