View Full Version : Peer session review - sign up sheet

Its been awhile since I've seen someone start a peer session review topic and I think its a pretty good idea for people of similar skill to review each other's hands.. in greater quantity than you can by posting hands.

Just list your stake that you'd want to exchange in.

If you aren't familiar with this exchange program, you simply email the hand histories for a session (100-200 hands typically) to your respective peer. They can import those hands into PT and review your play. They send you their session and you review it. After going through each other's session, discuss the recommendations if there are still questions and post the occasional mutually confusing hand here.

btspider is right. this is a good thing. do it.

i've gotten a ton of pms/emails about the "discussion group" which ended up not generating a huge discussion except for the confusing hands i posted. i just don't have a ton of time these few weeks to handle the emailing/and compiling of comments from everyone -- so use this thread in the meantime until i sort myself out...

and, as usual, i'm game to review anyone's hands from 1/2 or 2/4 (i have a handle on 1/2. still sucking it up at 2/4)

I've almost completely stopped playing recently, so I wouldnt need anyone to review my play. But I'd be more than willing to review hands for people who play 1/2 or .5/1

I'm in.

I am still in the process of playing 20,000 hands at .50/1$.
Am definately willing to participate at this limit. I assume who ever wants to will PM me.

Sign me up for 2/4, but since it's finals time, I can't make any guarantees about whether or not I have the time to do this.

I will humbly admit that I am still a barely profitable $0.10/$0.20 player. That said, I am still interested in exchanging session reviews.

I did 3BB/100 at .50/1 (good run?) but 1/2 has me stumped at times. I'll swap with another .50/1 or 1/2er on a buddy system.

Oh, and my BB/100 over my first 5K hands at 2/4 is 7.29 so I'm not really sure if you guys are in my league /images/graemlins/laugh.gif.

Seriously though, I've just been running great, but I'm trying to start playing 2/4 full time now instead of 1/2 so I would prefer to do those sessions even though I don't have much experience there yet.

I'm currently playing 1/2 and 1/2 6 max. I have about 13k hands of 1/2 and 4k hands of 6 max. I'd be interested in doing this.

I play 2/4 and 3/6, and occasionally 1/2. Anybody interested, PM me.

I'm playing 0.05/0.10 right now, and making the jump (on Stars to their next level) to 0.25/0.50. I think anywhere in there would be comparable.

I'm in - at .50/1 right now. Consult me if you want to see me coldcall in some very bad situations or if you want to learn how to lower your aggression factor.

I'm in. Playing mainly 1/2 now. Still play some .50/1, and am playing some 2/4 in a personal OIC. So I'm down for any of those limits.

I'd love to see some of your hands spider

Sounds like a great idea. I'm interested. I play 0.5/1.

I still have never posted a hand on this site, but I have been reading and learning from other people's posts. I've read (and reread) the 2+2 books, and I use PT. I believe the next step for me would be to start discussing hands with other players. I think it would really help to have other players criticize my play, and vice versa.

i'll see if i have any hands for another topic. i hadn't gotten much feedback when i asked if i should do another.

edit: eh, its easier to do live than post session.. just finished for the night and its hard to find interesting hands when i didn't write them down during play. i have to clear a bonus at 1/2 6m tomorrow.. so i'll try to remember to make a 6max hand dump topic.

I would be interested. I have recently played 1/2 full (8,000) and 6max (14,000) and roughly (18,000) I ran at around 4bb/100 at .5/1, around .1 bb/100 thus far at 1/2 full and a .1 bb/100 loser at 6 max. If anyone wants to talk 6 max I could definitely use a little help to see whats wrong in someone elses opinion.

I'm doing great at .5/1 but badly at 1/2, so I'd like to exchange some hands at 1/2.

I would like to exchange some .5/1 hands. Can't do it till I get home tonight, but PM me.

I'll be in for 0.50/1 right now, and some 1/2 next week. I'm going to be moving up to 1/2 on Party next week-ish once the bulk of the bonus whores have moved on. I do have some 1/2 experience under my belt if you want me to take a peek at some of your 1/2 hands, but my experinece was over at Pacific, where I can't get any hand histories to swap right away. Feel free to drop me a PM.

I would love to have someone with more experience than me reviewing my play. I play mostly 1/2 but have temporary stepped down one to .5/1 .

Hey numeri, I'm pretty much in exactly the same situation as you. I'm playing Pstars .05/.10, and trying to move up as well, so if you want to give it a shot, I would be very much up for looking over some of each other's plays

I'd be interested to sign-up. I have ~20000 hands at 1/2 6 max. I am NOT an expert but I could probably provide some interesting feedback.

I'd be willing to do this after the 21st( my last exam).

I play .5/1 and 1/2. More interested in 1/2 but either would be fine.
