Hypothetical situation acout screwing someone

Say you have this friend who owed another friend 50$. Now, when he got the 50$, he only paid the guy back 25$ because he was short on money and did not intend to pay back the remaining 25$.

Now suppose YOU owe the first guy 50$. You thought that move was SO lame that you considered only paying him 25$ so he could see how he likes it. You are not worried about how pissed off he will get. Your move.

Let's assume I would never place myself in a situation where he would owe me money in the future. Also let's assume that he has done this type of behavior before.

Everyone's wrong. Only give person B $25. Tell person A that now he knows what if feels like to only get half of his payment, and that it must suck that he had to use that half to pay off the rest of his other debt.

This is what I was going to post.

It's totally situational. Considering he is a douche bag and your looking for a way to screw him, I like this method best. Don't tarnish your own honor. If people hear you screwed him out of money it may come back to haunt you. With this method you come out looking like the good guy as you paid your debt, paid douchebags debt, and you get to screw the douchebag.

Best of all worlds IMO.

EDIT: I might tell him before I pay the other guy though. (I might act like I already did it) There are always two sides to a story.

Just to wrap this thread up, I ended up paying the guy 50$. His financial misjudgements have already cost him enough to satisfy me without having to directly intervene. Also friendship is more important than money.
