Couture will kick his ass, again. The man is a freak. Should be a great UFC. I'm looking forward to the Lee Murray v. Patrick Cote fight. Murray is an animal.

i am picking randy in the second round. the first fight randy pushed the pace the entire time and controlled the fight which allowed him to ground and pound later (3rd round).

murray is a dangerous brit, i got him winning with one of his sick subsmissions.

yeah and couture is tough to vote against, he is just so well rounded and the epitome of cool under pressure, there is no situation he hasn't been through a million times.

don't forget about the hughes vs. trigg fight, it could be one of the best of the night.

Looking forward to it- Couture and Liddell are easily my two favorite fighters (active, at least).

Even better- afterwards, my buddy's neighbor is hosting a poker game- most of the participants have been practicing online in the play money games. Heh.

Randy will win. Why did you restrict the pole results until the 16th?

i'm suprised more people aren't picking chuck.

boxing is notorious for two great fighters splitting their first two matches...and it's not because it's rigged...it's because once you get to that pinnacle (as these two definitely are) you just don't get beat twice in a row...two ANY opponent.

i pick chuck in three...and liddell v courtere III will put the sport on the map to stay, espn highlights and all.

I don't see anything that has changed since the first fight. Lidell is good, Couture is better. Couture by decision.

i see what you are saying and think chuck will be better prepared for randy this time, but that said in all randy is just a plain freak. he adapts to any style of fighter and comes up with an effective gameplan and sticks to the gameplan till the end, this is why randy is the best.

Randy is the best what? Dude is 13-6 and lost back to back fights 3 years ago. He isn't as good as Silva, Rampage or Arona at 205, and is probably on the same level as some others. The real talent in the class will be at the Pride GP next week.

That said, I'll be watching.

13-6 fighting only premiere fights. check out his fight list, its the best of the best.

Silva would beat Couture under Pride rules.

randy called him out and he did nothing about it.

Yea, UFC and its MMA-challenged judges heavily favor wrestling and lay and pray. Couture and other wrestles would do much worse in Pride.

But either way, Couture ain't top 3 at 205.

Watched the fight last night.

Randy KO'd in the first round. Got caught by a right that snapped his head so hard to the right It's a wonder his head didn't spin 180 degrees backwards.

Bummer, I really like Randy. I think he fought the wrong strategy; going toe to toe against Chuck (who I also like) is -EV. He should have used his better ground skills to ground and pound Chuck.

We'll see in Randy vs. Chuck III

i still don't know why people keep saying this, randy went toe to toe with chuck the first time and outboxed him by a very wide margin. i do agree it is the most dangerous and the safer method would be to use his clinch skills to both keep him close to you (so he can't throw those haymakers) and to get him on the ground.

but to say that you can't believe he went toe to toe kind of baffles me. if i go toe to toe with someone and beat the [censored] out of them then the next time i am not really going to be nervous going toe to toe again.

Fight of the night for me was Hughes v. Trigg. Hughes showed some amazing heart after being hit in the nuts. Dude is an animal.
