does that say that you have played in 1881 sngs but have $29 in profit? if this is indeed true, you need to start reading this forum daily. on a side note it is possible to run bad for this long of a stretch, it is just very very unlikely. my advice to you would be to look at the hands you are getting busted with and see if you were a favorite or not. if you are finding that you are constantly getting busted as a favorite, i wish you better luck friend.

I think he means $1881 in total buy ins, so that is 171 SNGs with a $29 profit.

I think he's saying he paid 1881 in entry fees, which would mean 171 SNG's at the 10+1 level.

My mistake 171 buy ins costing 1881 dollars. That was unclear. I didnt want to use the term "ROI" because I was afraid people would make this thread about how wrong it is to do that in this situation.

Yeah, what I said. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
How many 4th places do you have out of your total OOTM finishes? You may need to do some serious work on your bubble play. If your breaking even I suggest you get the idea of how to play the SNGs, but post some hands from the bubble, etc.

Either way, it's wrong, but it's fine to come in search of help You need a larger sample, first of all, in the mean time on your way, post your hands, work on your bubble play, fix some leaks & I'm sure you can improve your ROI. Everyone here is willing to help each person's situation, don't be afraid to ask.

Would you define the bubble as the final 4 or the final 4-6 or otherwise?

TruFloridaGator
04-12-2005, 12:57 AM
Final 4, but it's always good to post hands when your down to 5 or 6 in a lot of situations. In addition post any hands you think you may have made a mistake or even check your winning hands if you think you could have played it better.

Im playing now if I make the bubble ill post a few.

is this a dumb bet on the turn? I think i should have gone all in or probably checked. I didnt expect to hit the gut shot. if i hadnt hit it i would have checked behind him and probably lost with the 9 high. I was surprised by his fold.

No reason to push at that point, you need to be in push/fold mode preflop though with good position from there on out because of your stack/blind ratio...

You checked on the turn right? I mean if you would have bet and been raised or called you would have had to go all in. Since your opponent did not bet out at all, he was prob on two high cards but not an ace. His bets make no sense if he had an ace so your were right to check along and hope to hit your miracle straight. I would have bet maybe 50 or 100 on the river though. He might have thought you were stealing and called or raised you. Your all in bet was only a good bet if he had an ace which as I said if he did, he played really really dumb. thats my .02
