heres a little story about a man named brad : or how i learned to stop worrying and ignore everything

so anyway this girl i dated a while back has me drive all the way across town to 'borrow' some money. yeah i guess im a nice guy.

so naturally on the way back i stop at the casino. i was wearing sweats so i had all my junk in a small backpack (just like glasses, gum, walkman, earphones, vitamins, keys, chapstick, floss, etc.)

so the security girl at the entrance kind of grills me (are those your pills? me- uh, theyre vitamins. her- well they look like pills) but in a good natured way i guess. i was in a good mood so i couldnt really tell.

so i dont really feel like playing even though the top section is just totally filled with juicy games. so i go spin my wheels in some low limit games and win 200 real quick and then go to a different game and give it back.

oh and there was a football pool. 4th quarter ticket i got a 5-6 but just threw it away without filling it out because score was 3-3 or something so drawing dead.

next i look up and safety or something and its 5-3 and i go to see if its on top of trash but its not so i just hope i wouldnt have won. heh

so anyway im playing omaha where i burn off all the chips ive won earlier (total elapsed time about 30 minutes here) and decide to get into a players 21 game which i have only played 2 hands ever(thought it was blackjack back when casino had player banked blackjack). (its a total sucker game).

so anyway play a couple hands, new dealer comes in and i tell her if i dont win my wife wont let me play anymore. so the dealer gives me three 21's in a row and i win 1500. jackpot thingee).

lady to my left (who gets 250 for being at table) runs out of money so i say here ill loan you 50 (10 dollars a hand) and she says no just 10. she loses. 20 minutes later still havent got paid and shes sitting there so i give here 10 more. we get paid and she goes to cash out (shes paid in chips) and then comes back and i say well you owe me 20, and she says, no i owe you 10. i say well you owe me 20 but you can just give me 10. (actually we verbally jousted a bit cause i couldnt understand what she was saying.) so finally she admits she owes me 20 but i come down and am
willing to accept 10. so i give her ten dollars (she only has 20's) and she gives me a 20. but im a nice guy so it doesnt bother me and also i just won 1500.

well really 1300 cause i tipped 200. so the dealer i tipped i see her later playing 30/60 stud but it doesnt really bother me cause im a nice guy and anyway maybe shell win.

on the way out i see a dealer (female) at the atm and i tell her i won jackpot and she asks me for money but i find out shes stuck (bad in 20/40 game) so i just give her advice to come back another day (i expound on that as to why) and dont give her money cause im a nice guy and dont want to contribute to her loss.

well thats what its like for me at the casino.

Casinos seem like the worst place to loan people money. I've never loaned anybody in a casino a single dollar to gamble with and can't imagine that I ever will. I've also never asked for a loan and would probably feel humiliated to do it.

On a few occassions, fellow 2+2ers offered to loan me a buy-in to sit in a game with them. However, the whole reason I didn't have money on me at the time was because I didn't want to play that day. I was just in the room to socialize for a bit.

thats true but i guess i was used to giving people a stack to play with while chip runner was getting their chips.

and the atm dealer, well i saw she was having problems with atm and actually offered but she usually plays 4/8 (and i mean how much can you take out of an atm anyway) so i thought she was trying to get 100 or so.

but really i think the lady i loaned 20 to was kinda right cause the second 10 i just said here, play another hand, so it was kina my fault.

p.s. my football ticket didnt win so i was happy about that too. heh

what I don't get is why you thought 3-3 was a bad start on your 5-6 ticket.

well it was only for the 4th quarter. (got to casino near end of game).

i had 5/6 and the score was like i dont even remember but something like x3-x7, so i needed a safety and then a lot of field goals. and then right away a safety and two field goals or something for like x5-x3, but anyway i didnt win.

if you show up at casino arizona (btw im not there 24/7 you know) in a skirt and wig i promise i really will give you some money.

but be warned that sometimes i laugh so loud people next to me throw a fit and cover their ears (which makes me laugh even harder).
