Unless you pegged villain as a fish that will call 6:5 on a 4:1 shot, then no.

I think you can get away from this by checking and folding to an all in or calling a small bet.

Any hand that you beat but was calling you down like a Q or turned top two, will check behind to get a showdown.

A full house will bet strongly as will the rivered flush.

The villian played their hand terribly by drawing without odds at a flush to a paired board, don't sweat this hand, rivers happen.

it was a 5+1 on party so anything is possible. i know i should be playing 10s but bankroll limitations. i actually pushed on the river and busted out.

You've got to make a larger bet on the flop. It was freakish that your opponent picked up another draw on the turn. But I always make a stronger bet on the flop. You want action from someone who has a Q. Otherwise, you should just take the hand there or make someone pay a lot, from the start, for their draw. Your turn bet should've discouraged the person from chasing, but it didn't. That's poker.
