I don't play a lot of hands like this other than occasionally in the BB, so I wasn't too sure where to go with it. Any comments appreciated:

Looks fine on the flop, although you might want to bet a little bit more than the minimum (stop a hand like 52 from calling, which is likely what villain had in this case).

Turn looks fine.

River looks good too, he just didn't have a hand.

I would bet small on the turn. Shutting down looks suspicious, and you want to extra all you can. The river is ABC. Well played hand, except bet the turn.

I think your line here is fine as well. However, hero hasn't really shown much strength in the hand to this point, and shutting down on the turn might induce a river bet from a hand like 2nd or 3rd pair that might not have called a turn bet.

I think your line here is fine as well. However, hero hasn't really shown much strength in the hand to this point, and shutting down on the turn might induce a river bet from a hand like 2nd or 3rd pair that might not have called a turn bet.

But it won't be a large pot. If you bet small on the turn again, build the pot, even make him think he is "committed", then you can get some chips. I understand he will pay you off if he hits a hand on the river, but I don't see him folding to small turn bet. Extract, extract.
