I bought one for $30 from CompUSA today knowing I'd buy one online and return it when I get one online delivered, however as it turns out it isn't exactly the easiest thing to find a list online of competing brands and their prices for shipping and [censored] like that.

So, if anyone out there knows a place that sells cheap DVI-VGA concerters and stuff like that, it would be great if you could post it for me.

And yes, I've googled it, and yahoo! shopping'd it, and amazon'd it....etc.

The DVI->VGA adapter I got with my new video card a few months ago was a few bucks.

Isn't it just a little adaptor? How are they charging more than $5 for this?

Exactly what I thought when I looked at the price. I showed my roomate and asked him how much he thought it cost and he said $10.

If you want to see some crazy [censored] go to CompUSA and look at the 100' ethernet cords that are like $50 in the stores, then go online and they cost like $5

ebay, they're listed for .99, but they'll stick you in shipping. you can get it for $8-10 shipped

I laughed in the guy's face at CompUSA and then picked one up on the way home for $7.99 in an electronics store just a few blocks from my house.
