View Full Version : moving my sleep schedule back? best way

I have exams now. My first one is this wednesday at 9 am. I currently get up at 1. What is the best way to move my sleep schedule so I get up at 7-8 that would have the smallest effect on my studying leading up this exam?

Pull an all nighter two days before the exam and study. Then go to sleep around 6-7pm the night before the exam. That way you will wake up around 5 and be able to study before the exam.

i have a LOT of experience with this...

pulling an all nighter is a good option, but you should NOT do it the day before the exam...do it NOW if you choose to do it at all.

a better way is to get on that schedule ASAP. like, tonight, go to bed when you will need to in order to get up at 8am. this is like 12am-1am for me. you will not get to sleep right away. the next day get up at 8 and DON'T take a nap during the day...just go to bed earlier and you'll be able to get right to sleep since you'll be tired from changing your schedule.

if you sleep during the day, it fucks everything up.
