This is early in a step 2 tourney at PartyPoker. Two separate earlier hands w/QQ had allowed me to eliminate two players and take their chips. I'm curious to see if people think that the hand could have been played differently to extract more chips:

i might push preflop in this situation, of course- seeing the flop action let's you know that he gave up w/ JJ or QQ once he got called on the flop

you got the most you could with the least amount of risk i'd say.

I thought about pushing preflop, but chickened out, I guess. Should have rode the rush a bit further.

Not that chickening out is bad, but I thought you chickened out on the turn.

Meaning that I should have checked again, and let him bet? I thought he might conclude I was trying to buy the pot with my big stack and that he'd therefore call.

Call flop, lead turn is one of the strongest lines in NLHE. Remember that when you use it.

I doubt you have to worry about him hitting a straight so I check raise the turn all in. If he has QQ hes going to check behind you though and fold to a bet.
