I have been tryiing to call people down early in certain situations where my hand is strong but is beatable. Am I an idiot?

i think i would raise the flop here probably. any a,k,q or heart would be scary. Thats a lot of scary cards.

But since you called the flop and he bet out weak on the turn i would raise the turn to represent a flush (folding to a re-raise) also.

thats my play anyway
