MP3 is super solid....and I put him on an overpair....BB is a loose agrresive player....he is most likely to be on a flush draw but could easily have it already as I have seen him trap before.

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.25 BB (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

BB ($8.50)
Hero ($40.25)
UTG+1 ($22.15)
UTG+2 ($9.90)
MP1 ($37.50)
MP2 ($14.95)
MP3 ($25.10)
CO ($6.20)
Button ($19.50)
SB ($40.45)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 2/images/graemlins/club.gif.
Hero calls $0.25, 4 folds, MP3 raises to $1.1, 3 folds, BB calls $0.85, Hero calls $0.85.

Flop: ($3.40) J/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, MP3 bets $3.4, BB calls $3.40, Hero ??

Why not lead into the monotoned board with a pot-sized bet on the flop. You'll probably win unless someone has the flush or wants to gamble with a big spade. You can fold to a raise. You can bet again on the turn, then make a blocking bet on the river. Even vs. a made flush, you have outs to a full house. If a villain goes crazy over the top, or yet a 4th spade falls, you can fold.

I don't like checking your set here. What do you think about betting instead of checking on the flop?

At those stakes, no one is going to fold to a pot -sized bet. I've tried. Just bet and hope no more spades hit. Nobody is going to fold. Whatever you do, don't call an all-in on the flop or push all-in unless the board pairs.

I was going for the checkraise against the preflop raiser..he doesn't check a flop...worst case is i might get a free card (to make me a the fullhouse and if the BB already had the flush).

So i did end up raising it up here on the flop.

which brings me to part 2.....my checkraise was called by MP and the BB called as well (which put him all in...doesn't really help me...he could still be on a draw and he knows he will see both cards).

Blank hits on fourth street....I am first to act.

What do I do now?

lead the flop, you need to get some info and that will be the cheapest way.

if you get raised, then you're probably behind...people won't generally raise a flush board without the flush or the A of the suit.

..or they check-raise a set /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

ok, thanks for the help everyone...consensus is raise the flop...no arguments here then.
