First one I don't think is that interesting, but just want to check see if others take the same line. No real reads it's like my 3rd orbit plus I'm multi tabling to clear the Empire bonus. Gotta assume I have no fold equity on the river against better hands except maybe a gutshot and no worse hands are calling right? How about your action if the last card isn't a spade? Still too thin?

Preflop: Hero is Button with K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif.

BB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: $22.25

2nd Hand. I have a few minor reads at a different table. Button on this one is super lag, borderline maniac but can shut down if being pushed back at. BB isn't that good, pretty much a bad lag raising about 15% pre-flop, not quite as laggy post-flop sometimes just calls. I won about a 40$ pot on him when he caught TPBK with K9 on the turn against my flopped set calling a raise on the river after 2 2/3 ish sized bets.

So on this hand on the flop I am pretty sure that button will raise it up behind me. Now when BB moves all in I assume most of the time it's with the flush, but I only need to win with ~1.5 to 1 odds about 40% of the time. KK is almost certainly out since this guy would have popped back pre-flop. I didn't know exactly at the time but I guesstimated probably I have at least a 30% chance against a flush. Turns out it's at worst 32% against a made flush with straight flush redraw but more likely I'm closer to 35%. I think with the chances he has either 55 or say AhKx I have to call this especially since he could be trying to isolate raiser? So anyway after thinking about it quickly I figure I'm up against the flush most of the time but must call and do.

Now does this seem like the best play here? Anybody like a raise better to the 4 dollar flop bet? I'll add my thoughts later, they make sense to me now but I want to hear what others think.

Hand 1: Bet more on the streets.

Hand 2: Raise the small bet.

Hand one sure I could have bet more, though even top set on a monotone flop isn't all it's cracked up to be. I would typically make those bets with any hand so I don't like changing up any different and building a big pot (unless of course the board pairs).

Hand 2 care to elaborate on why you would raise the flop? I definetly would have without trusty button behind me.

Sorry, I only skimmed over your explaination. I think calling hear and letting button do his thing is good and then calling BB's all-in as this is the type of line I could see the A /images/graemlins/heart.gif taking.

Anybody else have any comments on either hand?
