I think its fine in moderation, but I'd like it more if you stack wasn't so big, maybe like 1100-1200 or so. As it is, it looks like a steal because you overbet the pot by so much. Plus you have a hand that can flop good and win a nice pot the old fashioned way.

I guess I don't like it as much as I thought I did at first but I still don't think its a terrible play. I just think you still have plenty of chips and you don't need to make this play yet.

I think this play works better with fewer players. Four or five handed it has worked very well for me. Without even a small amount of bubble fear I wouldn't try it.

That said, it is probably +EV.
