RPG,I've thrown grenades, that's pretty damned cool too, (I forget the actual nomenclature for the RPG and the grenade) M-60, M-249 SAW, MK-19, M-203, M16, .44, 30-06, 9mm, 10 gauge, 12 gauge, .410, .22(and a whole bunch of other caliber rifles, pistols, etc.)

Oh, and I also did a call for fire from a destroyer, as well as a call for fire for a battery of 155mm Howitzers. The Howitzers were fan-[censored]-tastic. BOOM BOOM BOOM. I get wood just thinking about it. Woo.

This is one of the advantages of being in the Corps. I'm sure there's others I'm forgetting too. Fired a lot of different [censored] in the Corps.

No. I wasn't a TOW gunner, but when we were in the desert I spent some time with them. The CO said, "wtf you guys will never have an opportunity to get this much practice again," so they were pretty much shooting anything. And I got to pop a couple. I got some seriously badass pics of a TOWs vs. tanks battle.

I got to fire the big gun on an M1 once too, but that wasn't nearly as fun.

all the usual stuff. The two that standout are the Desert Eagle .44 mag and an SKS said to be str8 out of China. Way too much fun.

About 20 years ago I had a friend who was a gun lover, and we used to go to the range and play with his toys a lot.

I bought a used Ruger 10/22 (http://www.backcountryjournal.com/ruger.htm) because it was cheap and the ammo was cheap. I still have it in my closet, hasn't been fired in like 15 years.

I don't remember the brands of his guns, he had:

A lever action 30-30
A pump action shotgun with an interchangable pistol grip/stock
A bolt action target 22 (looked funny with a 1" thick barrel and tiny bore)

But my favorite was the M1 Carbine with wire stock. The closest pic I could find is this one:

But his had a wood stock, no ventilated handguard, and the stock was collapsable.

Which desert? The Stumps or the Middle East?

I did two years in 29 Palms and about a year and half in the middle east. Mainly Kuwait. I know exactly why they fight all the time over there. [censored] heat.
