From my home game last night.

11 person tournament, 7 left. Blinds are 50/100.

Hero (MP) has $1350
Button has $700
BB has $455 (before posting).

EP player open limps, hero limps behind with 77. Button limps, SB Folds, BB Checks.

Flop 8 /images/graemlins/club.gif 4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 3 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

EP Checks, Hero Checks, Button pushed for $600. BB Calls his remaining $355. EP Folds

Hero????

Also - please let me know if I screwed up earlier with this hand.

If Button twitches his nose and farts when he's got trash, you'd need to know that BB flaps his arms like a chicken and sings the Yankee Doodle when he CALLS with trash to consider sticking around in this pot.

mucks

in a limped pot you don't think it's possible someone has like A8, or 8 whatever?

you might be ahead, but with only 100 invested i probably drop this

now if you raised to 300 preflop, it would have played differently.

Let me give you some reads.

Button - about the only thing he would have limped with that he hit here is A8. 2 broadway are a lot more likely.

BB- knows button is probably making a position bet on a crappy flop. I am 95% certain he hit a piece of it, but since he didn't have to put any money in and is short stacked only a 1/3 chance he hit the 8.

Does that effect your play?

Also - since I would create a side pot of over 500 with the button, does that make a difference?
