sorry, i know what thats like...
im curious though...what was your table image like leading up to this? i have found that if i had been exhibiting loose play just prior to this i get more calls with middle Aces and such but if I had been playing tight then people tend to respect it more.

may not be the case for you but i just thought of it when i read your hand

I'm not sure what your problem was?

I think everyone played this hand fine.

A 9- raise to isolate the short stack, he is going all in this hand anyways, so maybe the raise is a bit big, but I see the merit.

Your call with QQ - standard

His call with 2 cards - He is calling no matter what here. That's like 35-1 pot odds, how does he pass that up?

47 makes a terrible call. who cares what his pot odds are, hes not going to make a comeback. he should fold, and hope the pusher beats the caller in front of him, thats his best bet to make money here. as for you deuce, i cant help but laugh, only because i live with you. bwahahahahahahaha

Because if he folds and the big stack wins then he gets third. This way he needs to beat both to place.

He shouldn't though.

His chances at third are quite good (especially given the action in front) here unless he calls...

BRAIN FART - of course he should be folding here and trying to backdoor into the money.

If I had QQ in that position I would have folded. I wonder if I'm in the minority on that? Reasoning stack size.
On a side note I like A 9 suited push on the button I do it all the time. My main question is it week to fold QQ in that spot?

yes it is weak to fold qq there unless you're on your last 11 dollars in the world. call as you probably have the big stack dominated and will end up the big chip leader going into the money. Play for first not third.

careful, remember the surprising icm numbers from the "should someone fold KK here against daliman's push" from a post a week ago. that isn't to say that i wouldn't call in a heartbeat with kk here, esp not at the 10s.

as to the original poster: that sucks, but try not posting more bad beat post in the future. if you do, and you continue to hate your life, i'll resort to my usual response of:

hang yourself.
