That said, I pop the collar on my pink shirts all the time.

My poll was supposed to be what do you think of people that do it. If you do it yourself I am assuming you think it's the coolest. If you don't do it you either think those that do are toolsheds or are indifferent to the fact that they pop they're collars.

There is a difference b/w wearing your collar popped and popping your collar. It is a move that can definitely be pulled off. Wearing your collar up is lame for the most part. However, we used to pop each others collars when we would make a cap in the game caps. It was our end game move. Similar to a TD dance. I loved that shiat.

I own an epic light pink long sleeved button up dress shirt that I of course pop the collar on. The shirt looks straight of a 1980's business meeting.

Other than that, I don't even own a shirt that I could even pop the collar on other than like Quiksilver and Rip Curl button up shirts, which nobody has ever popped.

as a serious thing or just to mess around? if I saw someone do this as if it were as common as a handshake or high-five or homie slap then I think I would laugh. It just looks like it belongs to really, really cool people who can pull it off and look even cooler. Rapper Xzibit who hosts the MTV show Pimp My Ride, he looks pretty cool doing that but if President George Bush did that after a speech or something it would look comical.

I almost hate to bring this up, as I'm admitting to watching the show - but anyone see Hart on MTV's "Sweet 16". That's how gay one can looking popping his collar. As the Sports Guy said, he's going to swallow his tounge when he looks back on that video in 10 years.

P.S. if a chick pops your collar as a prelude to you hitting it, that's cool. if you do it yourself to be smooth, you need to be clotheslined.

It's similar to the people who hate white people for "dressing black", or something like that. They call them names like wigger, which is really just a racial slur like its black counterpart.

honestly, this is the part I find least funny about it. Don't get me wrong, the shirt has to be pink to make this comic accurate, but there's also little things like the shorts length and that ridiculous belt with the colored stripe going through it. the fact that he is doing that "tuck in the front, leave the back out" thing is also funny.
